I found these three species of octopus (Southern Blue-ringed, Pale, and Sand) within meters of each other on a solo night dive under Rye Pier on the Mornington Peninsula, VIC, Australia. Fascinating to encounter three species with such different habitat preferences and behavioural tendencies in such a confined area. Incredible diversity!
